Today, we announce a significant advancement in that mission with the acquisition of Vulcan Cyber, whose capabilities will soon enhance the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform.<\/p>\n<h4>The role of exposure management<\/h4>\n<p>As the cyber attack surface expands exponentially, so does the number of security tools meant to manage it. Unfortunately, these scattered tools often overwhelm security teams with fragmented insights \u2014 resulting in endless alerts, isolated data and conflicting recommendations on how to address threats \u2014 making it nearly impossible to understand what matters most.<\/p>\n<p>Exposure management addresses these challenges by shifting preventive security from securing technology silos to applying contextual risk intelligence to protect the business. Since the launch of the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform in 2022, we\u2019ve helped customers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gain visibility and control across the entire attack surface<\/li>\n<li>Prioritize exposure risk based on contextualized and enriched intelligence<\/li>\n<li>Foster collaboration among security teams and remediation owners using automated workflows and remediation guidance<\/li>\n<li>Remediate more critical findings and reduce mean time to remediate (MTTR)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Expanding Tenable One with Vulcan Cyber<\/h4>\n<p>By integrating Vulcan Cyber\u2019s capabilities into Tenable One, we will expand our ecosystem of third-party data integrations across vulnerability assessment, endpoint, cloud and application security, which will provide our customers with even more visibility and control over their entire attack surface. Vulcan also introduces advanced tagging, intelligent ticketing and automated campaigns that will automatically route security issues to the appropriate teams, ensuring seamless collaboration between security teams and remediation owners.<\/p>\n<p>This acquisition represents a powerful step forward in our vision to build the most advanced exposure management platform on the market \u2014 one that doesn\u2019t just highlight weaknesses but actively helps businesses close their most critical security gaps.
